Some of the more common trainings available include Stress Management and Balancing Work & Family. Most training formats provide a brief overview of the topic as well as some general recommendations to be applied for individual use. Specialized trainings which incorporate NASA Center specific policy may also be coordinated through the EAP.

Each Center offers EAP Orientation sessions to inform participants of the benefits of the EAP and how to access those benefits. Since the services through the EAP are continually changing (i.e., new products, new trainings, etc.) the EAP also encourages all employees to periodically attend orientations for updated information on available services.

Supervisory Briefings are also offered at each NASA Center. Briefings are designed to educate supervisors on the services available through the EAP so that they may be a knowledgeable resource for their employees. In addition, the trainings provide managers with information on “performance management” and specific recommendations on making referrals to the EAP.
