Begin planning now to attend the 5th Annual Advanced Laser Safety Officer Workshop August 4-6, 2009. Co-sponsored by the US Department of Energy, University of Pennsylvania, and the Board of Laser Safety, this year's workshop will be held at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. The cost for these three days of training is only $50. CEUs will be given for CLSOs, IHs, and CSPs. Several NASA laser safety professionals who attended last year when it was held at the Sandia National Lab said it was an exceptional workshop.
