2010 HealthierYou Campaign Description
OCHMO provides guidance and oversight to approximately 400 Occupational Health professionals in order to create a network of support for the NASA workforce. In the last five years, OCHMO has introduced the 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 HealthierYou Campaigns. In the coming year, the 2010 HealthierYou will continue to promote the same message of Personal Accountability for Health and Safety by enlisting a variety of tools.

  • For a HealthierYou Quarterly E-newsletter
    This quarterly e-newsletter is developed by the NASA Occupational Health for the purpose of employee health education and awareness. The pdf will be posted on the Mayo Clinic EmbodyHealth website as well as the this website. In 2010, we will introduce one EmbodyHealth feature and one health challenge per each of the four quarters.
  • 2010 HealthierYou Calendar
    This 12-Month Health calendar discusses different health topics and introduces a variety of learning activities in the context of a common theme. In 2010, the calendar is addressing successful management of chronic illness. The pdf of the calendar will be posted on the OHP and the EmbodyHealth websites.
  • Mayo Clinic EmbodyHealth Newsletters
    Two thousand copies of the monthly Mayo Clinic EmbodyHealth newsletters are distributed across all Centers. To access these newsletters contact your Center Clinic.
  • Influenza Vaccination Drive
    The Influenza Vaccination Campaign is offered annually at all NASA Centers. Contact your Center Clinic for more information. Generally, the vaccination drive begins in the September/October time frame of each year.
  • Mayo Clinic EmbodyHealth
    EmbodyHealth is an Mayo Clinic e-health package for the purpose of health assessment and promotion. The web portal includes a Health Assessment (formerly known as Health Risk Assessment or an HRA; Ask an Expert, Diseases and Conditions, and Healthful Recipes, to name a few. Site access is available to all NASA employees, their spouses and children over the age of eighteen. Site registration requires a unique identifier. Please contact
